1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use AI Gill. If you are under 16, you may only use AI Gill with the consent of a parent or guardian.
2. Nature of Service
AI Gill provides educational and psychoeducational information and support about anxiety.
AI Gill is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, psychological or other professional healthcare or treatment. It should not be used to diagnose a health condition or in place of advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
AI Gill should not be used in an emergency. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service.
3. Use of Artificial Intelligence
AI Gill uses artificial intelligence to provide personalised conversational responses.
The AI Gill intervention, content, conversational structure, instructions and safety processes have been developed specifically for AI Gill. The underlying artificial intelligence model used to process conversations is provided by OpenAI, a third-party artificial intelligence provider.
When you chat with AI Gill
The following information may be sent to OpenAI for processing:
• the text of messages you send to AI Gill;
• your first name; and
• relevant information about your anxiety, health, experiences or circumstances contained in, or extracted from, your conversation.
Because you may discuss anxiety, your conversations may contain sensitive information about your mental or physical health.
This information is sent to OpenAI only for the purpose of processing your conversation and enabling AI Gill to generate an appropriate response.

4. Explicit Consent to AI Processing
Before you can use AI Gill's conversational AI feature, you must provide separate, explicit consent for the information described above to be sent to OpenAI for processing.
This consent is separate from your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
The consent box will not be selected automatically. You must actively select it before the AI conversation can begin.
If you do not provide this consent, your personal and health-related information will not be sent to OpenAI and you will not be able to use the AI conversational feature.
You may withdraw your consent at any time. If you withdraw consent, AI Gill will stop sending your information to OpenAI for future AI conversations and the AI conversational feature will no longer be available to you.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that took place while your consent was valid.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for your use of AI Gill and for decisions or actions you take based on information provided through the app.
AI-generated responses are generated in response to the information you provide and may not always be complete, accurate or appropriate to every individual circumstance.
You should not knowingly provide unnecessary personal information about another person through AI Gill.
Do not use AI Gill in an emergency.
6. Intellectual Property
The content made available through AI Gill, including text, audio, animations, illustrations, intervention materials, software and other materials, is owned by or licensed for use by AI Gill Ltd.
You may use this content for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, modify or commercially exploit AI Gill content without prior written permission from AI Gill Ltd.
7. Payment & Subscriptions
AI Gill is available through a paid subscription.
Where a free trial is offered, the duration of the trial, the subscription price that will apply when the trial ends and the billing frequency will be clearly displayed before you subscribe.
Unless cancelled, subscriptions automatically renew in accordance with the terms shown when you subscribe.
Payments and subscription management are handled through the relevant app store, including Apple App Store or Google Play.
You can cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google account settings. Cancellation will take effect in accordance with the terms of the relevant app store.
8. Limitation of Liability
AI Gill is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
While we take reasonable steps to provide a safe, reliable and useful service, we do not guarantee that AI Gill will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
AI Gill Ltd does not exclude or limit any liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Gill Ltd will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to AI Gill where we reasonably believe that:
• the service is being misused;
• these Terms have been seriously or repeatedly breached;
• use of the service creates a security or safety risk; or
• suspension is otherwise reasonably necessary to protect AI Gill, its users or third parties.
You may stop using AI Gill at any time and may delete your account in accordance with the options provided within the app.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, including where we make changes to AI Gill, our technology, third-party providers or applicable legal requirements.
Where changes materially affect how your personal or health-related information is processed, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain fresh consent where required.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by UK Law.
If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, you will continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
Any dispute relating to these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction under applicable UK law.
